Which LED neon format suits the artwork?
Flex LED neon can follow many curves and letterforms, but very tight bends, fine gaps and intricate intersections may need the artwork simplified. 180-degree and 360-degree formats light from different viewing angles and may support other forms, subject to the design, size and fabrication review.
Send the actual logo or wording so line weights, returns and joins can be checked before a format is confirmed.
How will the backing, wiring and dimming work?
Acrylic backing may be clear, coloured, rectangular or cut around the artwork, subject to the sign design. Cable colour, cable length, power-supply position and the route to a suitable connection point should be agreed before manufacture.
A compatible dimming option may be available where brightness control is required. The quoted specification needs to confirm the lighting controls and electrical scope.
What needs checking at the site?
Provide a wide photo of the proposed location, a closer photo of the mounting surface, the approximate sign size and the nearest power location. The surface, fixing points, access and intended viewing distance affect the mounting plan.
Indoor or outdoor suitability must be confirmed for the selected product and exposure. Landlord, venue, building or council approvals may also apply; responsibility should be agreed before production.
What affects the quote?
The main inputs are artwork complexity, overall dimensions, LED neon format, colour, backing shape, controls, quantity and mounting requirements. Installation access, power work, freight or a reusable event structure can add scope.
Timing is confirmed after the artwork, specification and installation requirements have been reviewed. A supplied design may need adjustment where the chosen LED neon format cannot reproduce a fine detail safely or cleanly.

What is the difference between flex, 180-degree and 360-degree LED neon?
Flex LED neon is commonly formed around a backing panel and has limits around tight curves and fine details. 180-degree and 360-degree formats emit light across different viewing angles. The suitable option depends on the artwork, size, viewing direction and mounting plan.
Can you make an LED neon sign from our logo?
Send vector artwork where available, along with the intended overall size and colours. The design needs to be checked for minimum line weights, bends, joins and mounting points, and may need a practical adjustment before the specification is confirmed.
Can the brightness be adjusted?
A compatible dimming option may be available for the selected lighting system. Include the required use and brightness control in the quote request so the controls, power supply and wiring can be specified together.
Can an LED neon sign be used outdoors?
Outdoor suitability depends on the selected product, enclosure, power components, mounting and exposure. Send site photos and location details so the required rating and installation scope can be reviewed before anything is confirmed.
Can Platinum Signs install the sign?
Installation may be included where the location, mounting surface, access and electrical scope are confirmed. Supply-only may also suit some projects. The quote will identify the agreed scope and any work that needs a suitably qualified electrical installer.
