The project in detail

Seven deliberately different photographs document the site setup, component detail, panel preparation, lifting, façade fitting and completed building sign.

Similar vehicle, access and near-complete angles were removed. Each remaining photograph contributes a different part of the Sydney project story.

Project at a glance

One façade system, resolved from component to installation.

The project pairs a long, reflective black panel field with yellow dimensional branding. The material contrast, routed forms and careful set-out do the visual work without adding unnecessary elements.

The façade treatment

Gloss-black ACM panels create a continuous high-contrast field across the upper building elevation.

The dimensional identity

EDA's logo forms were CNC-router cut from PVC, then two-pack painted in yellow before installation.

The site delivery

The sign panels were checked and prepared at ground level, lifted by boom and fitted to the Sydney façade.

How it came together

A coordinated panel, finish and installation workflow.

The strongest project pages show the work, not just the final photograph. These four stages explain what the EDA image set demonstrates without inventing unverified dimensions or fixing details.

Read the four delivery stages
  1. 1

    Panel and logo set-out

The black ACM field and dimensional PVC forms were prepared as one coordinated façade composition.

  2. 2

    CNC-router-cut PVC

The EDA wordmark and line elements were routed as clean, repeatable three-dimensional forms.

  3. 3

    Two-pack painted finish

The routed PVC components received the specified yellow two-pack finish before being fitted to the panels.

  4. 4

    Access and installation

The crew used elevated access to lift, align and secure the completed sign system across the building elevation.

Project anatomy

Why ACM, routed PVC and a painted finish work together.

Each part has a clear job in the finished sign. The panel field carries the composition, the routed elements create depth, and the painted finish establishes the brand colour.

Material decision

Why expanded PVC instead of metal?

For this EDA façade, CNC-routed expanded PVC created a thick, dimensional appearance comparable to fabricated metal 3D components at the installed viewing distance, while fitting the client's tighter budget.

Expanded PVC can be specified in substantial thicknesses, shaped cleanly and two-pack painted. Metal can still be the better specification where larger spans, harsher exposure, fixing, compliance or long-term performance requirements call for it.

Technical detail

The main story stays visual and easy to scan. Open these sections for the delivered scope, the evidence in the photography and the specifications that still need a site-specific review.

Sydney proof · National capability

A one-site result that can inform a coordinated national rollout.

This EDA installation was completed in Sydney. For multi-site work, Platinum Signs can scope a repeatable signage system and coordinate production and installation nationally, while checking every location for dimensions, substrate, access and programme requirements.

  • One approved artwork and finish standard
  • Site-by-site survey and access checks
  • Coordinated production, staging and installation

Read the four-point quoting checklist
  1. 1

    Façade photographs

Include a straight-on view, wider site context and any known access restrictions.

  2. 2

    Approximate dimensions

Send an elevation, marked-up photograph or the main available width and height.

  3. 3

    Brand artwork

Supply the logo files and any colour or finish references already approved.

  4. 4

    Sites and programme

For rollouts, include the location list, target sequence and required completion window.
