Corporate fit-out · Office environmental graphics

An office where every wall is a destination.

When a travel company fits out a head office, blank walls are wasted advertising. Across twelve walls of its Level 15 office, Helloworld Travel's workplace became a tour of its own product — Uluru, Sydney Harbour, the Trevi Fountain, festival lanterns, the aurora — crowned by a face-lit 3D reception sign, and backed by lift-lobby roundels, door decals, bathroom panels and meeting-room names from the same program.

The project in detail

Ten photographs cover the murals in place around workstations and meeting areas, plus the face-lit reception sign and wayfinding layer that shipped with them.

Destination artwork was supplied by the client's brand team; Platinum Signs engineered it to each wall, printed, laminated and installed it.

Project at a glance

One program: murals, wayfinding and the small stuff.

The visible showpieces are the destination murals — but an office fit-out also needs the working signage layer, and it all shipped as one coordinated package.

Twelve destination walls

Full-height murals from 1880mm to 10.7m wide, digitally printed on self-adhesive vinyl with clear matte lamination.

The wayfinding layer

900mm lift-lobby roundels, twenty push/pull door decals and meeting-room name graphics keep the office navigable.

The identity moments

A face-lit 3D helloworld sign with internal LEDs crowns reception, with UV-printed bathroom panels and standoff-mounted acrylic completing the fit-out.

How it came together

Measured, printed and installed around a working office.

Wall-to-wall murals only look effortless when the measuring and sequencing were done properly. Every wall was confirmed on site before printing, and installation ran as coordinated visits with the client's team.

Read the four delivery stages
  1. 1

    Site inspections first

The walls were inspected and measured on site across two visits, so each mural was produced to its exact wall — corners, door frames and services included.

  2. 2

    Artwork proofed per wall

Production drawings were prepared for each wall and checked against the supplied artwork dimensions before anything went to print.

  3. 3

    Print and laminate

Murals were digitally printed on premium self-adhesive vinyl and clear-matte laminated for scuff resistance in a working office.

  4. 4

    Installed as one program

The crew installed murals, roundels, door decals and panels in coordinated visits, finishing the office without disrupting the business.

Project anatomy

Specified for office walls that get lived with.

Office graphics are touched, brushed past and cleaned. The build was chosen so the destinations stay vivid for the life of the fit-out.

Material decision

Why printed murals instead of painted feature walls?

Paint gives you colour; print gives you place. For a travel brand, photographic murals turn the office itself into product marketing — and printed SAV can be produced per wall, installed in days around a working office, and replaced wall by wall when campaigns or brands evolve.

Matte lamination was specified across every mural — in a glass-heavy office, gloss films mirror the lighting and wash out the image.

Budgeting an office program

What drives the cost of an office graphics program.

Office programs are priced per wall and per element rather than per square metre alone. The main drivers are:

  • Total mural area and the number of separate walls
  • Media grade — premium versus standard mural stock per wall
  • The small-format layer: wayfinding, door decals, bathroom and feature panels
  • Wall condition and prep required for adhesion
  • Installation staging around office hours and building access

Send a marked-up floor plan and wall photos for a program-specific quote — wall condition and artwork readiness change scope materially between offices.

Prepare a useful brief

What to send for an office graphics program.

Office programs are scoped wall by wall — a little preparation makes the quote fast and accurate.

Read the four-point quoting checklist
  1. 1

    A marked-up floor plan

Which walls get murals, which get identity or wayfinding — rough marks on the fit-out plan are enough.

  2. 2

    Photos of each wall

Straight-on photos showing doors, glazing, power points and anything else the graphic has to work around.

  3. 3

    Your artwork direction

Supplied photography, brand imagery or a theme — with the highest-resolution files available.

  4. 4

    Office hours and access

When crews can work, lift access arrangements, and any building induction requirements.
