Durable commercial panels
ACM, aluminium and selected metals
Consider these for fascia panels, information signs and rigid commercial graphics. Coating, exposure, fixing and finish still need to be checked for the specific job.

Choose the substrate, print side and finishing around the sign you need. Platinum produces quote-led rigid panels for commercial signage, displays and rollout work, with cutting, packing and installation scoped separately where required.
Produced in Sydney; delivery and installation are confirmed against panel size, access and location.

Start with the sign
UV printing is a production method, not the complete specification. Begin with the location, expected handling and visual result, then confirm whether direct print is suitable for the selected substrate.

Use acrylic for displays and interior panels where gloss, transparency or depth matters. Print side, white ink, backing, edge finish and mounting affect the result.
Compare acrylic signsLightweight and temporary
Choose lightweight sheet material for temporary campaigns, event signs and site notices. Duration, flute direction, double-sided print, holes and fixing method belong in the brief.

These are Platinum production and finished-sign images. Process photographs identify direct printing where it is visible; other examples demonstrate substrate, shape, finish and application without claiming an unverified print method.
Plan it properly
Open the section that matches your job. Essential choices stay easy to scan; comparisons, production conditions and technical detail remain here for a more rigorous brief.
The same artwork can look, handle and install differently on each material. This is a planning guide; final suitability depends on the actual substrate, exposure and finish.
Clarifying the handover point prevents missing cut files, fixing details or freight requirements. Material acceptance remains subject to review.
Use this path when the substrate, finished size, print side and approved artwork are known. Customer-supplied panels still require condition and compatibility review before acceptance.
Add routing, custom shape, holes, corners, laminate or edge treatment when Platinum is producing the finished panel rather than only applying the graphic.
Add packing, site labels, delivery and installation planning when panels must arrive in sequence or be fitted to a known surface. Installation remains subject to access, location and site review.
The print pass is only one part of a finished-panel quote. Material handling, setup, finishing and delivery can change the production path.
Sheet format, thickness, condition, finished dimensions, quantity and artwork versions affect material use, setup and handling.
Clear or coloured substrates may need a defined white layer, reverse print or backing choice to produce the intended viewing result.
Custom shapes, rounded corners, holes, laminate and edge treatment add production steps and must match the fixing plan.
Rigid panels need protection, destination details and an agreed handover. Installation also requires site, access and fixing information.
Quote checklist
Describe the finished sign and the handover, not only the print method. Platinum can then confirm suitability, production scope and any information still needed.
Name the exact substrate if known, plus where the panel will be used, handled and viewed.
List finished dimensions, panel count, artwork versions and whether printing is single or double-sided.
Send the artwork status, viewing side, white-ink notes, backing requirements and any cut path or hole positions.
Describe edges, laminate, cutting, packing, delivery, installation, destination and the date the panels are needed.
Service areas
Delivery and installation are planned against panel size, packing, destination and site access rather than promised as a standard inclusion.
Material review, printing and finishing are coordinated through the Sydney operation for an agreed specification.
