Sydney project · Retail tenancy package
When Claudio's Seafoods moved into the new Sydney Fish Market, one signage package had to carry the whole tenancy — backlit dimensional lettering around the bulkhead, a crab-motif graphic band on the mosaic tiles, 57 branded ancillary pieces, an interchangeable menu system and a roaming tasting cart — delivered inside a live construction program before the market opened.

The project in detail
Eight photographs follow the package from production checks through installation inside the live construction site to the finished elements in place.
Photography was taken during the fit-out, before the market opened — the crews and access equipment in frame are the build happening around the signage.
Project at a glance
A market tenancy is not a single sign. Claudio's needed its identity to work at every scale — from the bulkhead visible across the hall down to the price tags and the cart that roams the concourse.

Fifty-seven branded ancillary pieces, an interchangeable acrylic menu system and a fully branded tasting cart handle the day-to-day selling.
How it came together
Fit-out signage lives or dies by coordination. The tenancy was measured, produced and installed while the wider market build ran around it — with access windows, other trades and an immovable opening date.
Sizes and installation specs were confirmed on site before production, so every element arrived made for its exact position.
Claudio's supplied brand files were adjusted and prepared for each output — dimensional letters, tile graphics, menus and cart panels.
Stainless and acrylic letters, printed crab motifs for the tile band, UV-printed acrylic menu components and powder-coated cart panels were produced as one coordinated package.
Two-installer crews worked staged visits — early starts and weekend work included — around the fit-out program, ahead of the market's January 2026 opening.
Project anatomy
A fish market is a hard environment — moisture, cleaning, food handling and constant traffic. Every element was specified to look premium and survive the trade.

Splitting a tenancy package across suppliers multiplies coordination risk inside a construction program. Running identity letters, tile graphics, menus, ancillary branding and the cart as one package meant one site survey drove every element, the brand stayed consistent across materials, and installation slots inside the fit-out could be shared across the scope.
Some elements — the mosaic tiles and the pendant lights — were supplied through the wider fit-out, with Platinum Signs producing and applying the branding to them. That kind of integration is normal on anchor-tenancy work.
Budgeting a tenancy package
Packages are priced element by element rather than as one sign. The main drivers are:
Send your fit-out drawings and element list for a package-specific quote — precinct guidelines and builder programs change scope materially between tenancies.

Prepare a useful brief
Tenancy packages are scoped from the fit-out drawings and the landlord's rules — both matter before any pricing.
Fit-out plans and elevations, plus the precinct's signage guidelines if the landlord has issued them.
Vector logo and brand assets — the package works best when one artwork source drives every element.
Everything the tenancy needs signed: identity, menus, price systems, ancillary pieces, carts or kiosks.
Key fit-out dates, access windows and the opening deadline the package must beat.
