Sydney retail project · Two boutique locations

ONE MILE boutique signage across Bondi Beach and Paddington.

The rollout in detail

Six additional owned photographs show the Bondi and Paddington results, including facade context, entry lettering and workshop illumination checks without repeating the hero.

The gallery combines finished signage from the Bondi Beach and Paddington boutiques with documented workshop quality-control images; it is not presented as one continuous installation sequence.

Project at a glance

One fashion identity, adapted to two distinct shopfronts.

The boutique sites needed different forms of visibility. Bondi combines warm halo illumination with an architectural projecting sign; Paddington uses a long projecting lightbox and widely spaced fascia lettering for the Oxford Street frontage.

The brand language

Wide letter spacing, slim dimensional forms and a restrained warm-metal palette keep the ONE MILE identity consistent across every application.

The Bondi expression

Halo-lit dimensional lettering marks the boutique entry and upper facade, paired with a compact projecting lightbox for the pedestrian approach.

The Paddington expression

A longer suspended lightbox and large dimensional fascia lettering scale the same identity to the wider heritage shopfront and busy Oxford Street sightline.

How the rollout was resolved

A repeatable identity, specified for each boutique environment.

Owned project photography documents completed signage at both Sydney sites, together with workshop illumination checks for the halo letters and projecting lightbox. The sequence below explains the verified delivery logic without presenting the gallery as a complete production chronology.

Read the four delivery stages
  1. 1

    Review each shopfront

The sign zones, facade proportions, pedestrian approaches, fixing locations and illumination requirements were considered for each boutique rather than applying one identical layout everywhere.

  2. 2

    Hold the brand rules

Letterform, spacing, colour temperature and the understated metal finish were carried across the different formats so every sign still reads unmistakably as ONE MILE.

  3. 3

    Fabricate and light-test

The individual halo-lit letters and projecting lightbox were checked under power before site installation, confirming the letter spacing and warm illuminated effect.

  4. 4

    Install for the real sightline

Each sign was set out for its actual facade, doorway or awning position, giving the boutiques clear identification from both direct and approaching views.

Project anatomy

Three dimensional sign formats with one restrained finish language.

The system balances close-range boutique detail with visibility from the street: halo-lit letters for atmosphere and depth, projecting lightboxes for approaching pedestrians and dimensional fascia letters for the long shopfront view.

Format decision

Why use several sign types instead of repeating one sign?

Each format solves a different viewing condition. Fascia and facade letters work front-on, projecting lightboxes identify the boutique from along the footpath, and halo illumination gives close-range depth after dark.

A similar retail system should be specified for the actual brand artwork, facade proportions, heritage or centre requirements, substrate, power access, viewing directions and installation conditions at each location.

Pricing context

What shapes the price of a multi-site retail signage package?

Retail packages are quoted to the approved artwork and each shopfront. We explain the factors that move a current quote without publishing ONE MILE's commercial terms.

  • Number of sites, sign types, component quantities and overall dimensions
  • Dimensional construction, finish, illumination and colour temperature
  • Facade substrates, power access, fixing design and building requirements
  • Site measures, access equipment, installation hours and rollout sequencing

Send shopfront photographs, approximate sign-zone dimensions, vector artwork and the location list for a current indication. Final pricing follows confirmed specifications, site conditions and installation requirements.
