Description
High-pressure compressed air systems require unambiguous hazard signage. This danger sign conforms to AS 1319 with its distinctive red header and white 'DANGER' text, clearly marking zones where sudden decompression, hose rupture, or injection injuries can occur. Suitable for pneumatic workshops, industrial manufacturing, automotive service bays, and maintenance areas. Choose corflute for temporary installations, polypropylene for general use, Colorbond for coastal and chemical-heavy sites, or vinyl for flexible mounting. Four standard sizes from 225×300 mm to 600×900 mm. Lamination, reflective upgrades, and pre-drilled holes all available. Trade accounts qualify for volume discounts and priority delivery.
Final sign type, wording, size, placement and material depend on the site risk, project specification and applicable jurisdiction. Confirm the requirement with the relevant WHS adviser or regulator.

Frequently asked
How do I know if my compressed air hazard level requires this sign versus a warning sign?
Danger signs (red header) apply to immediate life-or-death risks such as high-pressure systems, injection hazards, or rupture zones. Warning signs (yellow header) suit lower-severity hazards. Consult your risk assessment or AS 1319 guidance if unsure.
Can I request a custom size outside the standard range?
The appropriate safety-sign category, wording, placement and supporting controls depend on the product purpose, site risk and applicable jurisdiction. Confirm the requirement with your WHS adviser or regulator; a sign alone does not discharge WHS duties.
What's the difference between corflute and polypropylene for indoor use?
Corflute is lightweight and economical for temporary or low-traffic areas. Polypropylene is more rigid, resists oils and solvents better, and lasts longer in active workshops.
Do reflective upgrades fade over time?
Reflective grades provide different visibility performance. Choose the grade required by the project specification and site conditions, and confirm any road, traffic or high-risk requirement with the relevant authority before ordering.
Is lamination waterproof?
Lamination adds moisture resistance but is not fully waterproof. For outdoor or wet-area use, Colorbond steel with lamination provides the best durability.
