Emergency Stop Type B Sign

Description

The Emergency Stop Type B sign meets AS 1319 requirements for fire safety identification, using a distinctive red panel that commands attention in emergency situations. Install it directly above or beside emergency equipment—extinguishers, hose reels, hydrants, or alarm activation points—to ensure occupants locate critical safety devices without delay. Available in four durable substrates: Colorbond (non-combustible aluminium composite for high-risk environments), polypropylene (cost-effective indoor use), corflute (lightweight, weather-resistant), and vinyl (flexible application). Sizes range from 225×300 mm to 600×900 mm. All versions feature fade-resistant printing and optional reflective Class 1 or Class 2 finishes for low-light visibility. Trade accounts receive bulk pricing on mixed orders. We deliver Australia-wide within 5–7 business days and can pre-drill mounting holes or add lamination protection upon request.

Final sign type, wording, size, placement and material depend on the site risk, project specification and applicable jurisdiction. Confirm the requirement with the relevant WHS adviser or regulator.

Frequently asked

Does this sign comply with Australian fire safety standards?

The appropriate safety-sign category, wording, placement and supporting controls depend on the product purpose, site risk and applicable jurisdiction. Confirm the requirement with your WHS adviser or regulator; a sign alone does not discharge WHS duties.

Which substrate is best for outdoor fire equipment?

Colorbond is the strongest choice for outdoor or high-temperature areas because it is non-combustible and resists UV degradation over time. Corflute is a lighter, weather-resistant alternative if budget is a priority.

Can I add reflective finish to improve night visibility?

Reflective grades provide different visibility performance. Choose the grade required by the project specification and site conditions, and confirm any road, traffic or high-risk requirement with the relevant authority before ordering.

What bulk discounts apply to trade accounts?

Volume-pricing examples are 5 signs: 8% off, 10 signs: 15% off, 25 signs: 24% off, 50 signs: 32% off, 100 signs: 40% off. Savings increase gradually between these quantities. The total increases as you add more signs, while the average price per sign falls or stays the same. The configurator calculates the total for your selected quantity.

Can you pre-drill mounting holes?

Yes. Four-corner pre-drilled holes are an optional extra with a base surcharge of $3.00 inc GST per sign for the listed configurations, before any applicable volume discount. Select the option to update the configured total before adding to cart.
