Make the equipment location clear
Check how people approach the hose reel from corridors, doors and nearby work areas. Choose a visible position associated with the actual reel or its enclosure, so the sign leads people to the right equipment. Keep shelving, stored goods and opened doors from obscuring the face. A sign without an arrow suits direct identification; a location around a corner may need separately specified directional signage.
Choose a face for the fixing position
Use the compact vinyl label on a clean, dry, smooth backing, such as a suitable prepared panel or cabinet surface. Polypropylene is a lightweight rigid option for a wall or sign holder.
