Description
The No Touching sign puts a red prohibition circle and diagonal bar over a black raised-hand pictogram, with the NO TOUCHING legend printed in bold black capitals. It is made for the places where curious hands cause damage or injury: gallery pieces, museum cases, retail display stock, freshly painted or coated surfaces, laboratory samples and equipment that must stay exactly as it was set. Two sizes are offered. The 225 x 300 mm panel suits counters, cabinets, plinths and doors that are read from close range, while the 450 x 600 mm panel is meant for exhibition walls, workshop bays and fenced enclosures that are read from a few metres away. Both sizes print from the same master artwork, so the proportions and colours stay identical whichever you order. Pick the material for the position. Polypropylene is the everyday choice for indoor walls and stands, colorbond steel handles rain and sun in outdoor positions, corflute board covers temporary displays and events, and self-adhesive vinyl goes straight onto glass, laminate or painted surfaces. Drilled holes and gloss lamination can be added to the order where they suit the material.
The design follows the AS 1319 prohibition layout of a red circle and diagonal bar over a black pictogram on a white background. Platinum Signs prints the sign to that layout and does not certify compliance for any individual site or display.

Frequently asked
Which size should I order for a display cabinet?
The 225 x 300 mm panel is the right fit for cabinets, counters and plinths that people stand close to. Keep the 450 x 600 mm panel for walls, bays and enclosures read from further back.
Can the No Touching sign go on glass?
Yes. Order it on self-adhesive vinyl, clean the glass, then apply the decal from one edge. Add lamination if it will be wiped down often.
Is it suitable outdoors?
Colorbond steel is the outdoor option and handles sun and rain. Polypropylene works under cover, and corflute is best kept to temporary outdoor displays.
Do I need drilled holes?
Choose holes when the sign will be screwed, riveted or cable-tied in place. Leave them off when it will be taped or bonded to a flat surface, or when you order vinyl.
Does this sign warn about electrical or hot surfaces?
No. It is a general hands-off prohibition. If the hazard is electrical or thermal, pair it with the matching warning sign so the reason for keeping away is stated.
