Camels Picto Sign

Description

The Camels Picto sign warns drivers of wildlife crossings in outback and remote regions where camel herds may move onto roadways. Manufactured to AS 1319 standards, it provides clear pictorial messaging regardless of driver literacy or language background. Available in three sizes (600×600 to 900×900 mm) in lightweight aluminium with optional Class 1 reflective sheeting for dawn, dusk, and night-time visibility. Platinum Signs delivers bulk orders to remote locations across Australia with trade account discounts and flexible scheduling.

Final sign type, wording, size, placement and material depend on the site risk, project specification and applicable jurisdiction. Confirm the requirement with the relevant WHS adviser or regulator.

Frequently asked

Is the camel pictogram universally recognised?

Yes, the pictogram follows AS 1319 conventions for wildlife crossing warnings, ensuring consistent recognition across all Australian road users and international visitors.

What's the lead time for remote location delivery?

Lead times depend on location; contact our trade team with your postcode and we'll provide a realistic delivery estimate and discuss logistics options.

Does reflective coating fade in outback UV conditions?

Reflective grades provide different visibility performance. Choose the grade required by the project specification and site conditions, and confirm any road, traffic or high-risk requirement with the relevant authority before ordering.

Can I order different sizes for the same route?

Yes, many customers combine sizes to suit approach distances and visibility zones; our trade team can advise on spacing and sizing strategy.

Is installation in remote areas supported?

We supply the sign and technical guidance; local installation contractors are typically more cost-effective in remote areas, and we can recommend installers if needed.
