Keep Left Sign – Arrow Left

Description

Use this Keep Left sign where an approved traffic drawing, sign schedule or confirmed private-site layout calls for the exact KEEP LEFT legend and a down-left arrow. The portrait face uses black wording, arrow and rounded border on a white field. It has no right arrow, lane instruction or supplementary panel, so confirm that the pictured direction and complete message match the intended approach. The verified catalogue options are 450 × 600 mm R2-3A(L) and 600 × 800 mm R2-3B(L), both in 1.6 mm aluminium. The base product is non-reflective. Class 400 reflective sheeting is available as an optional configuration; the selector describes it as Class 400 (legacy Class 1). Use the size and reflective performance stated in the approved project specification rather than treating either as interchangeable. Position the face so an approaching driver can understand which side of the sign, island or obstruction to pass. Queensland Government guidance says a driver at a keep left sign must drive to the left of the sign, but the artwork alone cannot establish the correct location, mounting height, support or lateral clearance. Match those details to the traffic plan or verified private-site layout. The Transport for NSW R2-3 drawing identifies the two listed sizes and specifies aluminium with a black legend, symbol and border on a Class 400 white reflectorised ground for its road-sign construction. This product page does not authorise installation on a public road or certify that a configured face, support and location meet every jurisdictional requirement. Drilling, posts and brackets are not included. Obtain the relevant road-authority approval and complete installation specification where required.

The current Transport for NSW R2-3 drawing verifies the listed left-hand designs and sizes, while Queensland road-sign guidance explains the driving instruction. The product face does not by itself determine placement, approve public-road use or certify the complete installed sign system. Confirm the relevant authority, specification and site details.

Frequently asked

What is printed on this Keep Left sign?

The approved portrait artwork has the exact black legend KEEP LEFT, a black down-left arrow and a black rounded border on a white field. It does not include a right arrow, lane wording or a supplementary panel.

What does a Keep Left sign mean?

Queensland Government road-sign guidance says a driver at a keep left sign must drive to the left of the sign. The installed position is therefore part of the instruction: confirm the approved traffic drawing or private-site layout before placing the face beside an island, obstruction or divided approach.

Which Keep Left sizes are available?

The listed portrait faces are 450 × 600 mm R2-3A(L) and 600 × 800 mm R2-3B(L). Those designations and dimensions are shown on the current Transport for NSW traffic-sign drawing. Use the size specified by the project rather than scaling from the artwork alone.

Is reflective sheeting included?

The base aluminium price is non-reflective. Class 400 reflective sheeting, labelled Class 400 (legacy Class 1) in the configurator, is optional at the displayed surcharge. The Transport for NSW R2-3 drawing specifies a Class 400 white reflectorised ground for its road-sign construction, but selecting that option alone does not approve an installation or verify every project requirement.

Are posts, brackets or mounting holes included?

No. The standard product does not include drilling, posts, brackets or a support system. Confirm the hole pattern, support, mounting height, lateral position, clearances and any impact requirements from the approved project documents before ordering installation work.

What volume discounts apply?

Automatic volume pricing is 5–9 signs: 8% off, 10–24 signs: 15% off, 25–49 signs: 24% off, 50–99 signs: 32% off, 100+ signs: 40% off. The configurator is the source of truth and updates the unit price as quantity changes.
