Stop (Black Dots) NSW Only Sign

Description

The Stop (Black Dots) sign is a NSW-specific variant of the standard Stop sign, featuring a distinctive black dot pattern for local road applications. Manufactured to AS 1319 standards, it delivers the same durability and reliability as our other traffic control signs. Available in 600×600 mm, 750×750 mm, and 900×900 mm sizes, each aluminium sign can be upgraded with Class 1 reflective sheeting. Platinum Signs supports NSW councils, contractors, and private operators with trade pricing, bulk discounts, and prompt Australia-wide delivery.

Final sign type, wording, size, placement and material depend on the site risk, project specification and applicable jurisdiction. Confirm the requirement with the relevant WHS adviser or regulator.

Frequently asked

Is this sign only for use in NSW?

Yes, the Stop (Black Dots) variant is NSW-specific and should only be installed within New South Wales. Other states use the standard red octagonal Stop sign.

Does it comply with AS 1319?

The appropriate safety-sign category, wording, placement and supporting controls depend on the product purpose, site risk and applicable jurisdiction. Confirm the requirement with your WHS adviser or regulator; a sign alone does not discharge WHS duties.

What are the three available sizes used for?

600×600 mm is for local streets and driveways, 750×750 mm for standard intersections, and 900×900 mm for busier or higher-speed roads.

Can I order reflective versions?

Reflective grades provide different visibility performance. Choose the grade required by the project specification and site conditions, and confirm any road, traffic or high-risk requirement with the relevant authority before ordering.

Do you offer bulk pricing for NSW councils or contractors?

Automatic volume pricing is 5–9 signs: 8% off, 10–24 signs: 15% off, 25–49 signs: 24% off, 50–99 signs: 32% off, 100+ signs: 40% off. The configurator is the source of truth and updates the unit price as quantity changes.
