Slippery When Wet Sign

Description

Slippery When Wet signs alert workers to slip hazards before an incident occurs. Built to AS 1319 standards, this warning sign features the distinctive yellow background and black triangle that immediately signals caution-level risk across your workplace. We offer corflute, polypropylene, Colorbond steel, and vinyl options in four standard sizes—from 225×300 mm for confined areas to 600×900 mm for expansive outdoor sites. All materials resist UV degradation in Australian sun. Reflective Class 1 and Class 2 finishes available for low-light environments. Trade accounts receive bulk discounts; we deliver Australia-wide.

Final sign type, wording, size, placement and material depend on the site risk, project specification and applicable jurisdiction. Confirm the requirement with the relevant WHS adviser or regulator.

Frequently asked

What material should I choose for outdoor areas?

Colorbond steel or vinyl offer superior durability in exposed conditions. Both resist fading and moisture. For cost-effective outdoor use, polypropylene with Class 2 reflective finish provides good longevity in most climates.

Can I get holes pre-drilled for mounting?

Yes. Four-corner pre-drilled holes are an optional extra with a base surcharge of $3.00 inc GST per sign for the listed configurations, before any applicable volume discount. Select the option to update the configured total before adding to cart.

Do you offer lamination?

Lamination is available on corflute and polypropylene signs, extending lifespan and protecting against wear. It's particularly useful in high-traffic or wet environments.

What discount applies to bulk orders?

Volume-pricing examples are 5 signs: 8% off, 10 signs: 15% off, 25 signs: 24% off, 50 signs: 32% off, 100 signs: 40% off. Savings increase gradually between these quantities. The total increases as you add more signs, while the average price per sign falls or stays the same. The configurator calculates the total for your selected quantity.

How quickly can you deliver?

Standard delivery across Australia takes 5–7 business days. Express options available for urgent orders. We'll confirm timeframes at checkout based on your location and material selection.
