Choose a durable material and readable portrait size
Polypropylene is the default rigid material and Colorbond provides a stronger mechanically fixed face. Vinyl requires a suitable weather-resistant backing. 3 mm Corflute is a lighter temporary option and may not satisfy a prescribed long-term installation. Choose 300 × 450 mm or 450 × 600 mm, then verify the applicable size and legibility rule.
Place the chart where people near the pool can see it
Check the current rule for the pool and jurisdiction. NSW requires the prescribed sign in a prominent position in the immediate vicinity and legible from at least 3 metres. Queensland requires the sign on the pool barrier or near the pool, conspicuous and easily visible to anyone nearby.
