Acrylic Printing

An acrylic print is a form of art where an image gets a new lease of life. Printed behind a sheet of premium acrylic glass, the image benefits from enhanced color vibrancy, increased depth, and a luminous glow. Acrylic printing is versatile. There are primarily two methods: Direct to Substrate Printing: Here, the image is printed directly onto the acrylic surface. UV-cured ink is used, which bonds with the surface upon exposure to UV light. The result? A vibrant, long-lasting print. Surface Mounted Printing: In this method, an image is printed onto a high-quality paper or another medium. This print is then mounted behind an acrylic sheet. The final look is rich with a beautiful interplay of depth and color.

Both mediums have their merits. Acrylic prints boast of unmatched depth and clarity, turning any image into a visual treat. The light-refracting properties of acrylic enhance the colours, making them pop. Metal prints, on the other hand, are incredibly durable. They are resistant to scratches, moisture, and even flames. While they offer a unique aesthetic, they may not match the depth offered by acrylic. That said, their resilience, especially in high moisture areas, gives them an edge.

Acrylic prints are built to last. Internally displayed, these prints can remain in pristine condition for several decades. The protective nature of acrylic ensures that the prints are shielded from dust, light, and minor abrasions. When placed externally, factors like direct sunlight, rain, and external pollutants come into play. Even then, with proper care, they can easily last 4-5 years, post which they might require some maintenance for continued vibrancy.

Acrylic has found its niche in the business world. Establishments, especially those aiming for a modern and upscale aesthetic, opt for acrylic signs and prints. The depth and vibrancy of acrylic make logos and brand messages stand out, drawing the viewer's attention. Moreover, they are often used in boardrooms, lobbies, and corridors to display company achievements, vision statements, and other pivotal information. Given their durability, they become a long-term investment, echoing the brand's values for years.
