Product details

Confirm the left-hand face

The verified artwork reads KEEP LEFT and the arrow points down-left. Check the driver approach and approved drawing before ordering; a Keep Right face, lane-control message or supplementary panel is a different product and should not be substituted by rotating or repositioning this artwork.

Select the specified R2-3 size

Choose 450 × 600 mm R2-3A(L) or 600 × 800 mm R2-3B(L) from the project schedule. Both are portrait 1.6 mm aluminium faces. The larger size should only be selected where the design documents or verified site conditions call for it.

Treat reflectivity as a project requirement

Base pricing is for non-reflective aluminium. Class 400 reflective sheeting is optional in the configurator. The NSW R2-3 road-sign drawing specifies a Class 400 white reflectorised ground, so confirm and select the required construction rather than assuming the base face is suitable for a regulated or night-time application.

Plan placement, support and approval

The printed face does not define its own location or mounting. Confirm which side drivers must pass, along with the support, hole pattern, height, lateral clearance, visibility and authority approval. Drilling, posts and brackets are not included in the standard product.

Check the sign format before ordering

The current Transport for NSW R2-3 drawing verifies the listed left-hand designs and sizes, while Queensland road-sign guidance explains the driving instruction. The product face does not by itself determine placement, approve public-road use or certify the complete installed sign system. Confirm the relevant authority, specification and site details.

  • Transport for NSW – R2-3 Keep Left traffic-sign drawingThe official drawing identifies the 450 × 600 mm R2-3A(L) and 600 × 800 mm R2-3B(L) designs and specifies an aluminium sign with black legend, symbol and border on a Class 400 white reflectorised ground. Read source (opens in a new tab)NSW design drawing only; confirm the current drawing revision, project specification and approval for the installation location.
  • Queensland Government – Regulatory signsQueensland guidance explains that at a keep left sign a driver must drive to the left of the sign, showing why the installed position and driver approach are part of the instruction. Read source (opens in a new tab)Queensland road-user guidance only; it does not approve this product or its installation in another jurisdiction.

Before ordering

  • Confirm that the exact KEEP LEFT legend and down-left arrow match the approved direction of travel.
  • Choose 450 × 600 mm R2-3A(L) or 600 × 800 mm R2-3B(L) from the verified sign schedule.
  • Select Class 400 reflectivity where the project specifies a reflectorised road-sign face.
  • Specify drilling, posts, brackets, mounting height and lateral clearances separately.
  • Obtain any required road-authority approval and verify the complete installation before public-road use.

This is general product information, not legal or engineering advice. A safety sign is one part of a workplace control system; confirm the site and jurisdictional requirements before ordering.
