Sydney CBD project · Workplace signage package

A reception lock-up, a wall statement and five values on glass.

Arriba Group's Sydney office needed three pieces of branding working together across the floor: a dimensional lock-up that carries reception, a short cut vinyl statement in the lounge, and the company's five values set out on clear acrylic. The package was surveyed, built in our own workshop and installed on site.

The reception lock-up

The Arriba Group lock-up was built as dimensional acrylic letters — the red wordmark and the grey tagline set out together and fixed flush to the reception wall so the whole lock-up reads as one clean line.

Project at a glance

One lock-up, one statement, five values panels.

This was a small package with three distinct problems in it. Each element sat on a different wall, took a different substrate and had its own setting-out to solve.

A reception lock-up

The red arriba wordmark and its grey tagline were built as dimensional acrylic letters, around 1500 mm wide, and fixed to the reception wall as a single aligned lock-up rather than as separate pieces.

A wall statement

In the lounge, the line 'Empowering lives together' was applied as contour-cut vinyl, around 2000 mm across, so only the words sit on the paint with no visible background around them.

Five values on clear acrylic

The group's five values — Customer-focused, People-passionate, Quality-orientated, Innovation-driven and Dynamic and Agile — were set out on individual clear acrylic panels floated off the wall on silver standoffs.

How it came together

Survey the walls first, then produce to what is actually there.

Three elements on three walls means three separate set-outs: the reception line, the lounge statement and the values grid all have to sit level and centred on surfaces that are fixed before we arrive. The job started with a site inspection and worked from those measurements.

Read the four delivery stages
  1. 1

    Inspect the floor

The reception wall, the lounge wall and the values wall were measured and photographed on site so each element could be set out to the real surface rather than to a floor plan.

  2. 2

    Approve the artwork

The reception lock-up, the wall statement and the five value panels were mocked up and signed off together before anything was produced, so the brand colours and the values wording were locked in one pass.

  3. 3

    Build it in our workshop

The letters were cut from 10 mm acrylic and face UV-printed in the brand colours; the statement was digitally printed on self-adhesive vinyl with a matte laminate and contour cut; the five panels were UV printed on 6 mm clear acrylic and laser cut with polished edges.

  4. 4

    Install on site

The reception letters were set out and fixed with double-sided tape and silicone, the vinyl statement was applied to the lounge wall, and the five acrylic panels were mounted on silver standoffs to a level grid.

Project anatomy

Three substrates, chosen for three different jobs.

A reception line, a wall statement and a values grid each ask for a different decision. One needs depth and a colour that is part of the letter; one needs to disappear into the wall; one needs to read as glass.

Material decision

Why float the values panels on standoffs?

Standoff-mounting lifts each clear acrylic panel a few millimetres off the wall. The shadow line that creates is what makes 6 mm acrylic read as glass rather than as a sticker — and it lets the five panels sit as a considered grid instead of flat tiles.

Standoff centres and panel size should be matched to the wall and the artwork on each project rather than carried across from this one.

Pricing context

What shapes the price of an office signage package?

Packages like this are quoted line by line against the surveyed site. We explain the cost drivers without publishing Arriba Group's commercial terms.

  • The mix of formats — dimensional letters, cut vinyl and standoff-mounted acrylic each carry different production time
  • Letter depth, panel count and how much colour and detail the artwork carries
  • Wall type and finish, which drive the fixing method and any make-good
  • Building access, install hours and the number of separate site visits

Send photographs of the walls, approximate dimensions and vector artwork for a current indication. Final pricing follows the confirmed survey.

Sydney proof · National capability

One Sydney floor, repeatable across an office network.

This case study documents a single Arriba Group tenancy in Sydney. For businesses running several offices, Platinum Signs can hold one approved artwork and material standard across the network while surveying each floor for wall type, access and install timing.

  • One approved reception, statement and values-panel standard
  • Site-by-site survey of walls, finishes and access
  • Coordinated production, staging and installation

What to send for an office signage package.

A clear first brief lets the team assess format, finish, fixing and install sequencing before confirming scope and price.

Read the four-point quoting checklist
  1. 1

    Photographs of the walls

Include the reception wall, any statement wall and the wall for values or wayfinding panels, with enough context to see the surrounding finishes.

  2. 2

    Final wording and values

Send the reception lock-up, any tagline, and the final list of values or panel content so the artwork can be set out once.

  3. 3

    Vector artwork

Supply the approved logo files, brand colours and any guidance on lock-ups, spacing or minimum sizes.

  4. 4

    Access and timing

Confirm building access, induction requirements, permitted install hours and whether any existing signage must come down first.
