We UV direct print your design onto the brushed aluminium surface using our high-resolution flatbed printer, delivering vibrant, full-colour graphics with sharp detail. The metallic brushed finish shows through unprinted areas, creating a striking effect. Every panel is CNC router cut to your exact specifications, from 100mm x 100mm up to a full sheet at 2440mm x 1220mm.

Brushed ACM (Aluminium Composite Material) features a factory-applied brushed aluminium finish on the surface, giving it a premium metallic look. Like standard ACM, it consists of two thin aluminium sheets bonded to a solid polyethylene core at 3mm thickness. The brushed finish provides an upscale, modern appearance ideal for corporate and retail signage.
With UV direct printing, Brushed ACM signs typically last 4–5 years outdoors without significant fading. The brushed aluminium surface itself is highly durable and weather-resistant. Note: lamination is not available on Brushed ACM due to the textured surface finish.
Our maximum single panel size is 2440mm x 1220mm (a full ACM sheet). For larger signs, we can produce multi-panel installations that are joined on-site for a seamless look. Contact us for custom large-format solutions.
No — Brushed ACM is single-sided only. The brushed aluminium finish is on one face of the panel; the reverse is a plain mill finish. If you need double-sided printing, our standard ACM panels support it.
We accept PDF, AI, EPS, SVG, PSD, TIFF, and high-resolution JPEG/PNG files. For best results, supply vector artwork at actual size with 3mm bleed. If you need design help, select one of our design packages in the calculator above.

The brushed aluminium surface has a textured metallic finish that lamination film cannot adhere to properly. The good news is that the brushed finish itself is naturally durable and UV-resistant, so lamination is not needed for most applications.
Brushed ACM gives you the premium metallic look of brushed aluminium at ACM's weight (~4.5 kg/m²) and price point. Standard ACM is direct-printed, with no metallic sheen. Solid aluminium is heavier (~5.4 kg/m²) and costs more but offers the same brushed look. For premium corporate facade, Brushed ACM is the sweet spot — authentic metallic finish without the weight and cost of solid aluminium.
Standard production is 5 business days from artwork approval to dispatch. A Fast Turnaround option (3 business days) is available in the calculator for urgent jobs. Because Brushed ACM doesn’t require lamination, the production pipeline is slightly faster than standard ACM for rush jobs. Delivery time is additional on top of production.
Minimum print size is 100mm x 100mm. For smaller branded plaques, consider our acrylic reception signs or brushed metal letters. Brushed ACM shines at building-ID scale (600mm+) where the metallic brushed finish reads clearly from a distance.
Yes for the printed graphic. Our UV flatbed press achieves 95%+ Pantone coverage on the brushed surface. The brushed aluminium itself reads as a warm silver-grey tone that most corporate brands accept as their secondary metallic colour. For critical brand work (rebrand launches, investor signage), a printed proof on actual brushed ACM can be supplied for sign-off before the full run.
Yes. Sydney metro via Go Logistics (often same-day or next-day). Interstate via Transdirect with tracking. Brushed ACM is lighter than solid aluminium so freight cost is lower for interstate shipping. Delivered Australia-wide.
Yes for Sydney metro at $120/hr per installer (2-installer minimum for panels above 1200mm or above-head height, 3-hour call-out minimum). Brushed ACM is commonly used for reception and corporate facade installs where aesthetic matters — we use concealed stand-off mounts by default to preserve the premium look. Pre-drilled mounting holes are supplied at no cost for self-installation.
All Brushed ACM signs come with a 12-month warranty against print fading and manufacturing defects when used as intended. Coastal or high-UV installs benefit from UV-stabilised inks — specify at order.
